Bareilly, UP: Dalit Woman Allegedly Gang-Raped, Filmed, and Forced to Consume Beef by Shifat, Shoaib and Nazim.

In Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, a distressing incident unfolded where a 19-year-old Dalit girl was reportedly subjected to a horrific ordeal. The survivor's friend, Shifat, along with two others named Nadeem and Shoaib, allegedly lured her to a hotel under the pretext of returning Rs 30,000. At the hotel room, the survivor was given beef against her will and a cold drink spiked with intoxicating drugs, causing her to lose consciousness. While she was unconscious, the accused men gang-raped her, with Shifat filming the assault. Following the assault, the one of the perpetrators, Shifat sent the explicit video to the victim’s fiancé and threatened to make the video public unless the survivor paid them Rs 50,000. This subsequently prompted him (victim’s fiancé) to report the entire episode to the police in no time. The accused in this case include Shoaib, described as a B Pharma student, and Nazim, who works as a barber. There were reportedly plans to flee to Kashmir, where Nazim's shop is located.
